Hey dear parent, I see you.
How you parent matters deeply to you.
💖 You want to raise your child with respect and warmth.
💖 You want them to feel safe and secure in your presence.
💖 You want to be a shining light of calm leadership and emotional maturity in your home.
💖 You value connection, you value having fun together as a family.
So you can’t figure out why it’s so hard. Why you keep getting locked in power struggles with your kids to the point that you totally flip and lose your s*%@
You are determined to parent differently and not make the same mistakes your own parents did - except you find yourself short-tempered and shouting, hand on hip, finger-wagging, just like they did.
Your parenting values aren’t translating into your daily interactions with your kids. There’s a mismatch and you don’t know how to fix it.
Kind, respectful, buckets of patience, fun-loving.....but the reality is far from that.
Instead it might look something like this:
💥 Parenting feels heavy, joyless, relentless.
💥You get the importance of building a parent-child bond based on respect and love, but your child refuses to listen and there’s only so much you can put up with.
💥Sometimes the only way they’ll listen is when you raise your voice - but it gives you a sinking feeling that you are failing and you really don’t want to parent like that.
💥The constant bargaining, arguing and threatening feels all wrong to you, but you keep falling into those patterns time and time again.
The reason you are struggling to stay calm in the moment isn’t a lack of willpower.
It isn’t because you don’t love your kids or you’re not trying hard enough.
It is simply because you need some new skills to manage your emotions - skills that you can learn.
You can learn how to manage your emotions before they take you over (and teach your kids how to do it too in the process - nice side effect of doing your own inner work).
It can be tricky at the start to put these practices into place (when you can barely keep your head above water).
So I am here to throw you a lifeline and support you on your journey to finding your inner calm and your deep well of patience.
It is in there.
Let me guide you..

Hi, I’m Pamela.
I am a mum of two, a certified parenting coach and recovering yeller!
Through the early years of my parenting journey I knew I wanted to be a gentle parent but the reality was far from peaceful.
When my second child was born I became impatient with my 4 year old and lost my temper with her regularly. Frustration and yelling became a regular pattern in our family.
I was horrified!
This was not the parent I ever imagined I would be. I had always been the ‘good girl’ and now I was yelling at my sweet daughter. What was going on and how could I fix it?
I was in a turmoil of resentment, anger and guilt - this was not the parent I ever imagined I would be.
So I went on a mission to understand why I was losing it and what I could do about it.
I learned the most effective strategies to get on top of my yelling.
Once I learned how to understand my own triggers and use simple tools to take care of my nervous system, everything changed. I now feel like a capable leader in my family.
Our home is full of laughter instead of yelling. I know how to navigate the challenges life throws at us in a way that brings us closer and helps my children learn and grow emotionally.
