What's a Virtual WI?
It's not just a zoom call. We've taken the best bits about being a member of the WI and made it available online.
Dress up or pop your PJs and slippers on, pour your drink of choice and relax knowing you don't have to drive home or find a babysitter, it's a convenient way to make connections.

- Monday at 10am, we meet for coffee.
- Wednesday at 1pm, we share a mindful moment.
- Wednesday at 3pm, it's Tiffin Time!
- Alternate Wednesday evenings we have the evening Yarnies.
- Alternate Thursday afternoons, it's afternoon Yarnies!
- The first Sunday of the month is Sunday Brunch Club.
- The second Monday of the month is Book Club.
- The second Thursday of the month is Virtual World Explorers
- The last Wednesday of the month, we Craft.
- The last Friday of the month we celebrate with the Evening Tipplers!
(Any drink is welcome - even Horlicks!)
You can start taking part in our sub groups as soon as you have paid your membership.

The WI
What makes the WI special?
We host 11 main meetings a year. These involve an educational element in the form of a talk, workshop, demonstration, that kind of thing. You're always learning in the WI!
Friendship is one of the enduring features of the WI. With social activities and sub committees for crafting, book clubs, quizzes and more, you'll get to know women from across the county, and perhaps even the country and beyond!
The WI is the country's largest women's membership group, and with that comes the power to make a difference. Every campaign stems from the WI members so you could be inspiring our next national campaign.
The West Kent Zoomers Virtual WI officially launched in April 2022.
As you can see, we have a great range of things to get involved in, so let us know if you are interested by contacting us below.
We are open to existing WI and new members alike, and welcome visitors along to see what we are all about.

Word from the founders
" Many WIs met virtually during the lockdowns and it worked so well that, even though we now meet in person again, many members want the online meetings to continue as well!"
A virtual WI can be much more accessible; those of us who have long days at work, childcare arrangements to make, or worries about going out in the darker, colder evenings can now benefit from everything the WI has to offer, without leaving the house!
