"I want God's Word written on my heart, so that my life reflects a close walk with God." —Janet Pope
Biblical self talk is based on what God says in His Word both verbatim and through biblical principles. It is deliberately looking ourselves in the eye and telling ourselves—out loud—how God sees us. How often we can forget things that God has done for us or ways that He has provided. This is so true of our identity as well. How easily we forget who God says we are unless we remind ourselves. Even just reading scripture, we can easily forget what it tell us. I believe that is why we are to hide God’s word in our heart (Psalm 119:11).
Never doubt the power of speaking life–changing words—to yourself.
