Help kids make progress with scissor skills - BUILD CONFIDENCE during each cutting skill activity!

Follow the developmental sequence to help kids have more success with scissor activities. 

Teachers/Parents: Help build skills following the cutting sequence. Incorporate following directions and learning concepts. Use at home for extra practice and skill building.

Therapists: Easily track data for progress monitoring - snipping lines are organized by groups of 10, cutting forward or cutting on lines are organized into 4's or 5's to make data collection easier!

All kids get to practice in-hand manipulation skills, snipping, cutting forward toward a target, and cutting on straight lines, curvy lines, zig zag lines, simple shapes, and pictures.

Activities also address fine motor and visual motor skills (coloring & tracing) as well as following directions (left-right, top-bottom concepts.) 

Kids also work on visual attention and visual perception when cutting the complex shapes on the outside lines.

• 4 shape wheels for in-hand manipulation / dexterity practice (2 in color, 2 in black and white so that children can color)
• Build in-hand manipulation skills needed for cutting with the SHAPE WHEEL (improve hand dexterity while addressing colors, 15 shapes, left/right directionality, and following directions)
