Hi, I'm Maria, I have always been creative and love the satisfaction of making my own things rather than buy ready made if I can. Having the freedom to add my own touch and personality, it makes it all the more special.
I made my own wedding invitations many moons ago and it was when my Son was born that I made bomboniere to celebrate his birth and then his Christening. I loved it and so from that Bomboniere By Maria was born.
I have created bomboniere and favours for many Weddings and life celebrations over the years. I love what I do and enjoy taking my clients on a journey to creating beautiful pieces that they are proud and excited to give to their guests.
With over 10 years experience in the Wedding and Events industry, designing and creating Wedding favours and stationery for events at The Dorchester, Hampton Court Palace, The Landmark, and The Savoy, London to name a few. I have an eye for detail and a passion for making things look pretty.
In my spare time, as well as learning and sourcing to keep up with new trends, I can often be found on a beach in my mother land of Sicily and spending time with my 2 children in our London home.

Taking you through all the different types of favour and bomboniere styles, the different ways to present them to your guests, what they mean and the elements they add to your day.
Module 3 - Choosing your favours
I take you through the different gifts and filling options to get you thinking about what you want. Taking you through the traditions to modern day alternatives.
MODULE 4 - Packaging
Before we get to the fun decorating part, I show you step by step how to box your favour or bomboniera. It's important to make an impression with what's inside and this needs to be presented well too. From how to gift pack a gift to almonds and chocolate.
Module 5 - Presentation
Now you have chosen want you want to give to your guests, how you will give them and how they will be packaged, we have some fun playing with ribbons and embellishments (my favourite part)
I will show you how to tie a beautiful and perfect bow.

And now for the finishing touch. Personalising your favours make them so much more special.
