The First 30: Your Postpartum Recovery Schedule

Now that your little one is earthside, it’s time to turn some of your focus inward. These first 30 days are an opportunity to slow down, allow your body to heal, and truly appreciate the magic of what you’ve just accomplished.

I know what you are thinking....

How am I supposed to slow down and focus on myself with a new baby?!

The First 30 Schedule is a roadmap to postnatal recovery. Here's what you can expect:

Because your recovery matters and you deserve to feel stronger. One day at a time.

Why Slowing Down is So Important:

In these early postpartum days, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of sleepless nights, feeding schedules, and adjusting to your new normal. But this is also a time to be present with your baby and yourself, and an opportunity like this won't come along again, because life is going to get busier.

Slowing down gives you the chance to:

  • Honor what your body has just done and give it the space to heal. Postnatal recovery is NOT about the bounce back.
  • Connect with your little one as you bond and learn together. You are growing just as much as they are.
  • Start creating habits that will support you throughout the rest of your postpartum journey.
  • Prioritize your needs even amidst the chaos, because you deserve to feel cared for, supported, and strong—just for you.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone:

Remember, this isn’t a solo mission. Postpartum recovery takes a village! You deserve and need support as you heal and transition into your new role. The First 30 Days schedule includes tasks and activities that your partner, friends, doula, and other support people can help you with. Whether it’s prepping snacks, giving you time to rest, or even helping with some gentle baby-wearing walks, your village is here to lighten the load.

Let those around you step in so you can focus on your recovery and your baby. Healing is a team effort, and asking for help is one of the best things you can do during this time.
