This process uncovers the "How" of creating a sustainable, successful and satisfying rhythm to Homeschool Your Nonspeaker!
If you're here, you already know that most schools are failing our children - whether they are in public school, private school or a specialized autism school.
Homeschooling our special kids is about meeting their real needs. And that means putting schoolish ideas behind us!
You aren't alone! And you've hit on one of the biggest challenges facing caregivers. HOW do we prioritize? How do we decide what to do NEXT?
That's what the GIFT Framework is here to do - this simple 4 step process is one you will use again and again on your journey with your nonspeaker!
All 3 of our children (20, 17, and 10 years old at time of this publishing) have been homeschooled their whole lives.
Our nonspeaking child is our baby. Thankfully, I learned with his big sister and brother to slow down and not worry about how the rest of the world does things. That gave us time to figure out what was the right path for him and us!
Now that I've been working with other families on this same journey, it is clear that building an effective and joyful homeschool for our nonspeakers doesn't have to be complicated! In fact, I can keep things really simple by focusing on my real, one-of-a-kind family and our real-time needs!
I'm so excited to share this GIFT Framework with you so you can see that you can start homeschooling - or make your current homeschool even better - by figuring out what your next step is! This framework is the gift that keeps on giving, because you can use it over and over again as your family's needs evolve.
Please reach out anytime. It brings me great joy connecting with other families on this Spelling Journey.
Warmly,
