The 100 board is used to help students learn numbers to 100 but did you know you can do a lot more than that with it?
The simplicity of this board hides the variety of learning you can do with it.
Commonly children empty out the tiles that come with the hundred board and put them onto the correct place on the board using a control board to check their work. However with a couple of creative tweaks you can also use it to help teach place value and encourage mathematical thinking.
