Wow! I’m in awe of Away with the Faeries! Sam Hall has an amazing start to a new series. This book is not like the typical faerie or paranormal stories I’ve read. It is definitely not what I was expecting and it is such a pleasant surprise. So whatever preconceptions you may have, leave them behind before you fall down the faerie rabbit hole.

Dude!!! I don't even know if I have the words to express my deep undying love for this book. The writing is amazing, the storyline is epic and the characters are delicious, how could I not love this book.

I started reading it right before bedtime thinking I’d get through a few chapters and pick it back up in the morning.. NOPE.. Could. Not. Put. It. Down. It was all sex, drugs and rock n roll and hey, let’s add some faerie magic into the mix just for shits and giggles. I LOVED it.

I grew up in that bit of Australia you saw in Crocodile Dundee. Yup, I have seen saltwater crocs in the wild, have held a koala (the 70s, when stressing wildlife for the kiddies was still cool) and have swatted an insane number of hand-sized spiders (they think I am their queen and are always wherever I am!). I have a gorgeous child with ASD, a super supportive, truly awesome partner and so, so many animals. Seriously, there is double the number of pets to people.
