Hi Friend!

I was taught at a very young age to crochet and had picked it up and down many times until I was pregnant with my first little guy! After that I am not sure that there has ever been a time that a hook hasn't been in my hands!

My style and mission has evolved over the years, but now my passion is creating designs that span across age groups and are easy for a beginner but still satisfying to a seasoned maker! 

I LOVE texture and finding ways to make simple stitches visually interesting. The Life and Yarn Blog is full of Free Crochet Patterns that are classic, modern and chic. I design with a range of yarn, from different fiber content to weight, especially light weight yarns and cottons!
