Each week we will look collectively at specific symptoms so that a personalised approach can be taken to meet your needs. This course aims to be meaningful to an evolving you.
Katrina comes to this walk as a speech and language therapist supporting people with airway, sleep and breathing difficulties.
She has training in airway health and how the tongue and the muscles of the pharynx are at risk of change through the stages of life, causing disruption to breathing sleep and health. She is highly trained in
Myofunctional therapy and she completed aa residency in California on Functional Oral Facial Pain. She is a dynamic clinician who is keen to support women in reaching their potential to be the best they can be.

Eva is a registered nutritionist and women's health specialist with a particular interest in perimenopause and menopause.
Eva is passionate about helping women through this time of life. She is on a mission to empower, educate and support women to understand their bodies and get them back to being on top of their game and feeling fabulous.
Each week we will look at an individual specific symptoms and share research and evidence and look at ways to support our health through a safe intimate community.
We will take a personalised approach to meet your unique needs so that this course is meanigful to you.
Where are you now - midlife introduction
Menopause and the body mind connection. Addressing the physical changes to our bodies and how we feel about them. An opportunity to take time to review common missconceptions and stereotypes about menopause. Menopause should be viewed as a change for the better and an opportunity for positivity.
Weight loss resistance
We will take time to explore what could be contributing to your weight loss resistance, such as thyroid and adrenal imbalance, changes to sleep, nutrition, exercise and much more.
Insomnia/ sleep problems
What the menopause means to sleep as we change. What disturbed sleep means to our bodies? We will look at the value of good sleep to our health - the quality and the quantity. We will look at how fragmented sleep affects our sense of wellbeing and look together at the value of sleep assessment and how supporting strategies can create change.
Mood/Stress/Anxiety/Depression
We will explore midlife specifics to changing mood focusing on your adrenal health, sex hormone decline, breathing a sleep. Special guest psychotherapist Rachael Sharaad will share her expertise on sense of self and keeping your midlife change in check.
Joint / Muscle / Physical Pain
Root cause of joint and muscle pain at midlife is not always declining hormone levels. We will explore importance of bone health and explore together what could be a cause of physical changes and what this means for us as individuals as we are not all equal. Special guest osteopath Gemma Dawson will share her expert knowledge in physical middle change.
Fatigue/ lack of energy
An opportunity to explore changes to our energy levels at midlife and why these changes happen. What is happening on a chemical and physical level to affect energy availability. We will take a look at the meaning of nutritional deficiencies (iron/B12/folate) thyroid and adrenal suboptimal function, circulation, physical health which are all possible links to your declining energy levels and fatigue.
