We are a team of moms who share a mission to better support mothers mentally, emotionally, and physically during their postpartum period and beyond by providing them with tools and support to guide them through recovery and feeling ready to face their new phase of life with comfort.
Dr. Nicole will provide education about the changes our bodies undergo during pregnancy and the transition from pregnancy to postpartum and how these changes affect mood, energy levels, etc. She will empower women to understand what’s taking place in their bodies during the postpartum period and how they can support themselves mentally, emotionally, and physically through diet, movement, and other naturopathic therapies. Participants will receive actionable handouts and delicious lactation treats.
Dr. Davida will explain how all postpartum women can benefit from physical therapy, what’s normal vs. not normal for postpartum symptoms, and give a return to exercise screen. Participants will leave the workshop with an understanding of what their next steps should be to prevent future injury and pain, as well as what some of their weaknesses and strengths are that play into returning to exercise. In addition, participants will know 5 Foundational Exercises which can benefit every postpartum momma to return to optimal shape without pain or pelvic floor dysfunction.
Gina will discuss specific nutrients and diet recommendations for postpartum healing, energy, mood and breastfeeding. She will provide specific and realistic action items that you can apply day to day as you care for not only your newborn but for yourself. Gina will also highlight how to fuel the postpartum body for return to movement. (Only speaking at Whole Health Nutrition)
Together, we hope to help postpartum mothers feel more supported and to give them the care they need to have optimal health and live their dream lives.
