You've come to the right place!
Grammar can be hard. The present perfect can be even harder.
It can be frustrating for both you and your students.
You've gone through the rules a hundred times but what's missing from that ........is vocabulary.
By combining the lexical approach with grammar (because yes, grammar and vocabulary are very much connected despite how course books are laid out) I have designed a worksheet that allows you to review the present perfect with real-world lexical phrases.
These phrases, which can be used in multiple contexts, are ones that students will actually hear, see and use.
Follow-up exercises will get students to recall these chunks of language so that they won't have to think too hard about the rules.
These tasks can be done in one lesson or over multiple lessons/given for homework for review and reinforcement.
