“Stress symptoms may be affecting your health, even though you might not realize it. You may think illness is to blame for that irritating headache, your frequent insomnia or your decreased productivity at work. But stress may actually be the cause.”
“With the World Health Organization recently declaring burnout an actual medical diagnosis, it's clear that taking time for ourselves is something that can improve both our physical and mental health. Research has shown that more ‘you-time’ and a better work-life balance can help prevent mental illnesses like depression and make you a happier, healthier person. “ ~ Reviewed.com

Unlike other programs out there, you aren’t going to get a list of things you SHOULD or SHOULDN’T do (we know that rarely works).
Instead, you are going to be guided to making simple habit shifts that fit into YOUR life, so you can make them become part of your routine that becomes second nature to you, for lasting change you actually enjoy.
Now, you might be thinking one of these two thoughts right now...
We understand these thoughts because we used to have them too, and here’s what we want you to know...
No matter what diet you follow, how much you exercise and what supplements you take, if you’re not managing your stress you will still be at risk for modern degenerative conditions like heart disease, diabetes, hypothyroidism and autoimmunity.
- Chris Kresser, M.S., L.Ac.
Practicing self-care is a win-win! It allows you to be a better parent, partner, child, friend, professional, and colleague. As we learn better self-care, we become better people in general. Being in touch with your own needs and feelings allows you to show deeper empathy and love toward others. By filling your own emotional and physical buckets, you are providing yourself with the necessary resources to also give to your family, friends, and the greater world in general.

It’s those who think they don’t have time for self care that need it the most.
Over time, you have learned to live a hectic life and it has likely snuck up on you over the years. You’ve become used to feeling tired and stressed even though you know it’s draining you. While the idea of taking time for yourself may seem appealing, maybe you think you just don’t have 5-20 minutes a few times a week to do it.
We'd like to challenge you on that belief and know that we used to feel the same exact way, so we get it.
Hi, I'm Desirée. I'm a homeopathic practitioner, co-founder, daughter, wife, mother of three and dog mom of two. Oh, and I'm also a cancer survivor.
I usually lead a very busy life and have been exploring my own acts of self care over these last years of the pandemic. I have discovered that for both my patients and myself, self care is essential.
As a homeopath, I delve into the realms of the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. They are all so uniquely interconnected that we cannot ignore their interplay with each other on all levels of both suffering and healing.
Over my last 15 years in practice, I have seen incredible healing happening for my patients and it's not solely due to their homeopathic remedy. It's those patients who take to heart what it means to heal themselves that really create a difference for themselves.
I'm over the moon excited to partner with Jen in this adventure and bring this program to you here and now.
It's time for me, it's time for my patients and it's time for you to create our own meaning of self care and move into 2022 with full self compassion, love and true care.
And I'm Jen! I'm a Certified Life Coach for women in their 40s, 50s, and beyond who are ready to finally put themselves first for a SELFISH (my signature framework) hot minute and live their second half even better than their first.
My story includes decades of loneliness though no one would have ever known. I laughed and smiled easily but behind the smile was pain and heartache from a less-than-ideal childhood that had me believing I wasn't a very good, kind, or worthy person so of course I didn't feel worthy of belonging and connection.
A perfect storm six+ years ago had me re-evaluating everything and I decided to heal my brokenness by tackling it head on.
I'm no longer last on my list of priorities. I no longer want to run from my life all the while knowing how #blessed I am and feeling guilty for wanting more.
Self care isn't selfish. Self care allows you to be the person you wantneed to be in the world - for yourself and others.
So, if you think you’re too busy for self care, think again. Your body IS keeping score as much as you would like to think it isn’t.
Here’s the good news - self care does not need to be time consuming and in fact, it can fit into small pockets of time during the day.
The best part is that it can actually reduce your stress levels dramatically, and also have you feeling more patient, calm and happier.
We put this program together so you don’t have to go through what we did. Let us show you what we've learned the hard way, so you can avoid the mistakes we made.
“When self-care is regularly practiced, the benefits are broad and have even been linked to positive health outcomes such as reduced stress, improved immune system, increased productivity, and higher self-esteem,”
- Brighid Courtney, from the Wellness Council of America.
