From the 30 minute chat, we'll identify the areas you want to work on so I can build a personal action plan. Each Zoom call will be based on these aims and objectives and set at a pace to fit in with your life.
At the end of each meeting I will evaluate your progress and offer techniques, tips and how to implement them into your daily life.
Ok then, here's more info to help you decide...
to videos, as I see them as an opportunity to practice my skills - yes really!
speaking in groups and online presentations.
control my nervous and speak with confidence in front of people.
Ideal for those who are time restricted time and need advice or need to learn simple techniques to apply to everyday work life. You may want tips on how to improve your confidence on videos or find networking events awkward and want to feel prepared and quietly confident.
Ideal for those who would like advice on how to make specific changes in their speaking and fluidity . You will have a handful of things that you want to improve on from your voice volume to speaking confidently on the spot.
Ideal for those who need extra support and have several things they want to improve upon. You may struggle to control your nerves, need feedback to help you feel more confident in meetings online or face-to-face as well as techniques to improve on your voice volume and how to speak on the spot for inner confidence.
Based on our initial chat we'll identify areas and objectives - focusing on the key issues where you would like to improve to set out a plan. These four 1 hour Zoom sessions will be set at a pace you're happy with over a few months. Tasks will be set at the end of session 1 and 2 to be practised in your own time. Every session will include feedback, techniques, tips, tricks and video links to help you practice what you've learnt. Occasional sessions can be face-to-face if needed but usually based online so you don't have to leave home.
On this plan, I can help you gain confidence to:
• Give you courage to speak to people you've never met and sound interesting.
• Improve your voice volume and projection to speak with clarity.
• Speak to groups with greater confidence and professionalism.
To keep the momentum going, I would advise that each Zoom call should be every 1-2 weeks to get the most out of each session. Having this regular support helps to stop falling into old habits if it's left too long between calls. It's up to you to take time out to practice in between to develop your new skills.
Be prepared to watch yourself on screen/videos, to understand how to improve - no-one is ever perfect!
At the end of this course of sessions, my aim is to change how you feel about being the centre of attention and how you view public speaking. With my support and a clear plan you should be confident and identify when you feel yourself falling into old habits.

speak too quietly, quickly or get flustered when speaking at work?
get tongue tied or interrupted at work by colleagues who are louder?
too afraid to share your ideas and thoughts with colleagues at work?
speak confidently in a group of more than 4 people.
prepared to speak on the spot to people in a group or over the phone.
more relaxed to share my thoughts and ideas in a group.
When I decided to set up my own business, I could no longer hide behind my screen I had to pitch for new opportunities which was out of my comfort zone.
I used to find myself stumped what to say to new people or how I could get my voice heard in a meeting. It had left me feeling very frustrated. Over the decades I've slowly become more confident and found my feet at comfortable pace.
After a lot of persuading, a trusted friend invited me to a local Toastmasters club. With the safety and support from this club, I have gradually grown my confidence learning key skills not taught in education or the workplace.
I can now say my confidence has exceeded my expectations and I don't shy away from speaking opportunities. It's not perfect but I can control my nerves to think what I have to say. I'm now prepared to speak on the spot, say yes to videos and able to give constructive feedback on projects.
My 1-2-1 sessions are designed to help you to control your nerves and build your confidence, in the comfort of your home.
