| You don’t need any formal English qualifications to take the test In Modules Two and Three of the TKT course, we deal with Planning for Teaching and Classroom Management. The purpose of these two parts is to introduce participants to the basic principles of good planning and to introduce them to the primary aspects of classroom management. |
Rachida Guelzim and Paul Harvey have been TKT tutors since the course was launched by Cambridge ELT almost twenty years ago. They have taught both for the British Council and as freelance trainers. For the past seven years they have been the principal trainers in a major teacher training project run by the American Cultural Association in Morocco in conjunction with MAFE (The Moroccan Association of Friends of English). So far, through this project, over 200 Masters students have been trained by Rachida and Paul, using the TKT course. Many have gone on to find employment in language schools in Morocco and abroad. As well as this, Rachida and Paul have trained teachers on TKT courses in Algeria and Tunisia. It was there that they also trained other TKT trainers, as they have done at the American Language Centers in Morocco.
