In this webinar we discuss the relationship between loan accounts with trusts and legislation, tax, and the deceased estate.
Section 7C of the Income Tax Act is not your only concern when there is a loan account with a trust. Other considerations include the impact on the estate, a liquidity shortfall in the estate, the possibility of an insolvent estate or trust, possible action against trustees, legacy complications of bequeathing loan accounts, exposing trust assets to creditor risk to name but a few.
Both Renate and Phia will discuss in detail the relationship between loan accounts with trusts and legislation, tax, and the deceased estate.
