Hi, my name is Kerry!
I am teacher with 17 years of experience in the field of Special Education, having worked in both mainstream and more specialist settings with children and young people from the age of 3-19 that have severe, complex and profound and multiple learning difficulties. I am a qualified SENCO and have completed a PGCert in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion at distinction level with the University of Birmingham. I am also a qualified Makaton tutor and have completed accredited training in PECs, TEACCH and physical intervention. Outside of education I am mum to two gorgeous but very energetic boys, I enjoy baking and decorating cakes and can often be found indulging in an afternoon nap!!
I am hugely passionate about supporting families and educators of children and young people with additional needs including Autism.
