Still have questions?
Can this help me if my baby has a tongue tie?
This guide cannot diagnose a tongue tie, you can only go to a professional medical provider for that, but I do tell you which medical provider is appropriate in the guide.
Can this help if I have an older baby?
Sometimes older babies have trouble latching too, and I also have a section on that. All of the info is applicable to older babies.
Is this helpful to buy while I’m still pregnant?
Absolutely! If you read this before baby even comes, you will have such an advantage and be ready to meet your goals!
What if I’ve already seen a lactation consultant and they said everything looks good?
It doesn’t matter what it “looks like” it matters how it feels. This guide is great if you’re looking for a way to troubleshoot and empower yourself to improve.
Still Undecided? Latch Lab may be perfect for you if....
*You’re a breastfeeding mom just starting out and is frustrated with painful breastfeeding or sore nipples.
*You’ve tried everything and still is experiencing pain while latching and perhaps throughout the feed- you’ve maybe already ruled out tongue tie or other causes and are still in pain.
*You’re a pregnant mom who wants to know the fundamentals of latching so you’re prepared to breastfeed without sore nipples.
*You’re a pregnant mom who’s heard about how hard breastfeeding is and was told to “prepare your nipples” for the absolute sh*t show that’s to come. (Pssst: It doesn’t have to be like that.)
It’s NOT for you if:
*you’re looking for a “quick fix” or magical solution.
*Latch Lab cannot replace professional IBCLC help for those who need it (severe nipple tissue damage, baby losing weight, etc). It can still be a helpful tool.
