About the author

A nature lover and baker who’s crazy about dogs and birds, Juliet Brilee has been a life-long creative person, writing, making art, and teaching. She wasn’t born with a pencil in hand, but her mother was pregnant with her in art school, and Juliet was listening.

Because her master’s degree is in math and science education, and her husband is a tech nerd who loves to garden, she enjoys writing about brainy characters who work in tech, or the science fields.

Her son is blind. He and his friends inspire her to portray people with disabilities respectfully as the whole people that they are.
