From my bedroom window, I could see nothing but the black of night and the glistening stars. 

I was eight and living in a fantasy world of my imagination. There were forest people, sea creatures, mountain dwellers, all surrounded by magic. They spoke a foreign language that was new and different, one that my brother and friends could not speak or read. 

The world was rich and complex and filled with wonder. 

In my twenties and thirties, I tried writing the stories of the Belvitri and Tryglow, but I did not have the skill to put on the page what was still in my head. 

In 2004, I began the creative writing journey with the one goal of writing about the lives of the people dwelling in my soul. Twice more, I tried to write the books, but still, the books were not the stories of my childhood fantasies. 

Now, after years of writing, and becoming an award-winning author, I am ready to write the books of Seataris.
